Jennifer Burns Bio

Jennifer Burns enjoys sharing her love of cooking without living by the “rules” of a recipe. Prior to developing the “Cooking Delight” television show, she conducted cooking demonstrations with the “Cooking Delight” concept, which combines food, music and art. She produced and was the host of the live events that united a cooking demonstration, live music with a variety of entertainers and artists whom created artwork while experiencing the sights, smells and sounds. The masterpiece was visible for all to see at the end of the event. Each Cooking Delight event was held at different locations and had its own unique theme. These highly publicized and well received events have catapulted Cooking Delight into a television show demonstrating a similar format of the live events. Ms. Burns is the creator, producer and on-air host of the television show. Additionally, she has written a cookbook featuring all original recipes, which includes 40 original pieces of art and a music CD keeping with the theme, but encourages people to “make the recipes their own”. Jennifer attributes her passion of cooking to her Mother and Grandmother. She is thrilled to have an opportunity to inspire others to view cooking as a creative outlet and to enjoy the process more.

Prior to Cooking Delight, Jennifer has had a successful career as a Producer, Director and other positions in television and film production in addition to her management career. Jennifer gives credit to her mentor, her Mom, and her family and friends for her successes because of their love and support.

The “Cooking Delight” show airs every weekend on KJZZ-14 and tapes weekly at the KJZZ studio in Salt Lake City. The show airs Saturday afternoons at 4:00 and Sunday afternoons at 2:00 MST. It includes a live studio audience and celebrity guests from sports, TV, film and music.
