Host of the "Cooking Delight" TV Show Announces her New Cookbook that Includes Artwork and a Music CD
November 24, 2008, Salt Lake City, Utah.....Host of the Cooking Delight television show, Jennifer Burns, shares her original recipes in the new Cooking Delight Cookbook which can be ordered now and will ship in time for Christmas. The book is being published by Golden West Publishing out of Phoenix, AZ. In addition to over 100 recipes, the cookbook includes 40 pieces of original art and a music CD, the ancillary companion to Jennifer's theme of combing food, music and art. The concept of musical ability, the design of art and creating food dishes is similar and the experience can become culinary joy in the kitchen
The recipes are a variety of breakfast starters, appetizers, salads, soups, sandwiches, side dishes and main dishes. The book encompasses a large variety of recipes including Mexican, Thai, American, Italian, Middle Eastern and vegetarian dishes. Most recipes have the option to make the dish vegetarian if desired. The music CD has a selection including jazz, indie, blues and soulful tunes by a variety of inspiring musical artists.
The "Cooking Delight" show airs every Sunday at 2pm on KJZZ-14 and tapes weekly at the KJZZ studio in Salt Lake City. The show is upbeat and promotes cooking in a fun atmosphere to encourage others to have more fun in the kitchen and to look at cooking in a more creative way. The theme developed by Jennifer Burns is to inspire others to view cooking as a creative outlet and "To Be an Artist in Their Kitchen!"
Jennifer throws a "party in the kitchen" every week with TV, film, music and sports celebrities making appearances. Some of her guests so far have included everyone from professional racecar drivers and Olympic skiers to Tracy Lawrence, Collin Raye, Patrick Dempsey, Peter Breinholt and Governor Jon Huntsman. It is an entertainment/cooking show with a live studio audience.
Jennifer enjoys sharing her love of cooking without living by the "rules" of a recipe. She is thrilled to have an opportunity to inspire others to view cooking as a creative outlet and to enjoy the process more. The edition of Cooking Delight Cookbook was inevitable and most assuredly a complement to the popular Cooking Delight television show.
